| Service Description: | At Chellaston Infant School we believe that everyone will reach their full potential in a safe, fun and happy
environment which promotes independence, self worth and excellence. Everyone is a learner whose values are respected. We are a mainstream maintained infant school with 360 pupils on roll, set within a large suburb of Derby.
We have a disabled toilet with a shower on site. There is a large sloping playground and grass areas. Reception is housed in temporary classrooms, as are two year 2 classes.
We make arrangements to visit local nurseries and for pupils to visit school as part of our transition arrangements.
We liaise closely with Chellaston Junior School. A transition visit is arranged for all pupils. Additional transition visits are arranged for pupils with SEN or disabilities as required. |
