Service Description:	At Little Scholars we believe that the first five years are the most important in a child''s life. It is during this time that they learn all of their basic skills such as language skills, socialising and interacting with adults and other children. Never again are we able to learn as much and as quickly as we do in the first five years. It is here where Little Scholars will endeavour to fulfil these needs through play. We create personal learning plans in partnership with parents and our qualified and experienced team plan to meet the individual needs of all children. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage which reinforces our belief that children learn best through play. Most importantly of all at Little Scholars, life between the ages of 0 – 5 should be fun and free from any pressure; this enables children to learn and explore their environment. Children are full of questions and our job is not simply to answer them but to help them find their own answers. We offer a stimulating and caring environment where children are able to develop and grow at their own rate. We will provide a caring and exciting environment where each child’s individual needs are catered for. Children at Little Scholars have freshly cooked nutritious meals that meet their individual dietary and cultural needs. We realise that every child is an individual and great importance is given to this fact. We aim to use our large outside area as much as possible for outside activities and exploration. We aim to take each child and their needs into account when signing up to the nursery. We ensure we have the support in place for children and staff when children join us. Nursery open Monday to Friday 7.45am – 6pm. Different sessions available. Funded only sessions are available. Please contact the nursery for more information.
