| Service Description: | It is our aim to make all of our room's light and airy providing a homely, nurturing environment for all to enjoy. Typical daily activities include singing, music, stories, art activities including sand, water, outdoor play, construction and various table top toys plus time for lots of cuddles! Each room is equipped with up to date toys and equipment providing numerous learning opportunities.
We are fortunate to have a computer which features many educational software packages. All this is provided in a small group setting enabling children to build relationships with their carers and peer group. Additional activities typically include dance and French lessons which are subject to both availability and an additional charge. Extra visits from different organisations such as Yogabugs. Members of Mickleover Library.
Babies and Toddlers enjoy outdoor play areas that are totally covered in safety surfacing. Main Nursery and Pre-School children have large play areas and secure gardens which contain a separate sensory garden and a wide range of outdoor play equipment.
Fresh homemade healthy menus. Closed bank holidays and one week over the Christmas period.
Day Nursery: Morning Session: 8:30am – 1:00pm, including lunch. Afternoon session: 1:00pm – 5:30pm, including tea. Short day: 8:30am – 3:00pm. Full day (children wanting breakfast need to be at nursery before 7:45am). |
