| Service Description: | I provide before and after school care for school age children from 07:30 - 09:00 and 15:00 - 19:00 from Redwood Primary School. I also provide a pick up service from Redwood Nursery, morning and afternoon sessions.
As well as the above I provide full time care for babies from 6mths old up to school age.
Hourly rate of £5.00 I also offer the full 30hrs funding or 15hrs for those who wish to share with Redwood nursery in Sinfin for 3 and 4 yr olds. Funding for 2yr olds also covered.
Outdoor activity summary: School holidays are very active and full of fun, lots of wet and messy play, play in safe enclosed rear garden with a variety of toys. Days out to local park, Gulliver''s Kingdom, Alton Towers, Drayton Manor Park, Conkers, Twin Lakes
Trips to Twycross Zoo are favourites. On wet days we go to soft play, Titchy Town or visit the local library.
We very often join other childminders where we enjoy fun days on a bouncy castle and many picnics in the park.
Within the school term younger children enjoy going to the park, soft play, story time at the library and visiting local shops where they get the chance to chose their favourite fruits and vegetables and much more, a valuable life experience and freedom of choice.
Additional facilities: ride-on toys, pop-up tents and tunnels, videos, DVDs pc games, PlayStation, books, puzzles, board games etc for all ages, creative play, dressing-up, painting, model making, lots of tuft tray activities to fully engage children and widen their experimental self, a quiet area for children to do homework or sleep in, use of computer and supervised internet access. We also attend Redwood School on a Thursday morning for Fledglings toddler group where we meet children of similar ages and to get them use to being within a school environment with a qualified Early Years teacher. |
