The right nursery setting can make a big difference to a child, that's why Busy Bees at Derby Heatherton is purposely designed with children in mind. Our play areas are bright welcoming and fun with areas for messy activities, active play, sleeping and quiet times.

Toys and equipment are chosen specifically for each age and stage of development so there's always plenty to keep young minds stimulated. To compliment the fun activities we provide every day in nursery, we also offer additional extra curricular activities that will help your child to develop further and enjoy their time at nursery even more such as French lessons, yoga, and various accompanied excursions. Individual outside play areas for babies, toddlers and pre-school which includes a Discovery Garden.

Qualified staff; Qualifications ranging from NVQ Level 2 to more recently Foundation Degree's in Young Children's and family services.

Our nursery has a fully equipped kitchen where all meals are prepared and cooked using only the freshest produce - including fresh fruit and vegetables every day. Each meal is carefully planned to meet each child's individual needs and to cater for any special dietary requirements.
