Service Description
Service Description:Treetops Counselling and Emotional Support Service is open to anyone of any age who has experienced any kind of bereavement, including traumatic deaths such as accidents, drug/alcohol related deaths, suicide and murder. The Counselling and Emotional Support Service is also available to anyone dealing with a life-limiting illness at any stage from diagnosis. The service is available to adults with a life-limiting illness and to their carers/relatives, including children/young people.
We have purpose built premises catering for therapeutic work for adults, children and young people. We see people individually but also see family members together if appropriate. We can also support parents in terms of how to deal with a grieving child or a child dealing with the life-limiting illness of an adult relative.
We have some experience of working with children on the autistic spectrum and can sometimes signpost elsewhere is we are unable to help.
