Woodlands Private Day Nursery is run by a nursery infant teacher and fully trained nursery nurses. It offers full or part-time places incorporating a structured day and following the Early Years Foundation Stage.

The Woodlands Nursery is registered with OFSTED and provides government funded nursery places under the government scheme.

There are facilities for after-school and holiday clubs.

Children are offered a healthy and satisfying diet, both meat and vegetarian dishes and meals for special diets are prepared freshly each day.

Outdoor facilities offer scope for exploration and exercise. Our garden includes a digging area, gardening, sand and water, play home, climbing frames and quiet areas. If weather permits we move the playgroups outside.

We provide a wide range of activities and experiences for children in our care. We plan the environment carefully, to enable children to both develop their existing skills and to develop and practice new skills. We endeavour to create a vibrant and stimulating environment that promotes spontaneous and exploratory play.

The Nursery likes to provide a ‘home from home’ environment, with a wide range of activities provided by caring and experienced Nursery Nurses.

It is thoroughly advised to check availability, places usually need to be reserved at least six months in advance, to guarantee days of choice.

Full Day (or week) Session: 7.30am – 6pm.
Morning Session: 7.30 – 1pm.
Afternoon Session: 1pm – 6pm.
Short Day Session: 7.30am – 3pm,
Mini day 8.30am-3pm
Flexi 9 Session: 9 hours times of choice,
Flexi 7 Session: 7 hours times of choice.
