I have been an Ofsted Registered childminder for over 28 years, looking after children in my own home. My daughter works with me as my assistant.

I have experience of looking after children from 6 weeks old. I understand how difficult it can be to leave your child with someone new, so I work hard to make the process as easy as possible for you all.

I offer quality childcare in a home based setting with a strong emphasis on meeting the individual needs of the children in my care. I work closely with parents to ensure these needs are met. I provide a wide variety of activities including art and craft, dressing up, messy play, outdoor play, story time, singing and music and play with a huge range of toys and equipment. The children in my care are happy and have a lot of fun!

I have level 3 and 4 qualifications in Early Years Childcare and Education and attend regular training courses. My daughter and I both hold current Paediatric First Aid certificates and I am fully insured. My daughter has a level 3 early years qualification as well as certificates from the many courses she has studied.

We both have experience of looking after children with additional needs, particularly autism and speech and language delay. We have experience of using PECS, Attention Autism and of planning targeted activities. We are confident when dealing with other professionals and are happy for them to visit the setting to see the children.

We are able to offer funded sessions for eligible children from the age of 9 month. That''s 15 hours and possibly 30 hours funded childcare per week. Please contact me if you would like more details on how your child could benefit from funded hours.
