Service Description:A mainstream community infant school with children from the age of 4 years to 7 years.
There are 243 children on roll and the school has an intake of 90 per year group.
The school is in a suburb of Derby with 9 classrooms.
The playground small and has access via a slope at one side and steps at the other.
There are two disabled toilets on site.
We make arrangements with some of the pre-school settings when pupils start in Reception. Visits are arranged.
We liaise with Portway Junior school where most of our children transition to.
As a school we are mindful of and comply with expectations of the SEND Code of Practice and Disability Discrimination Act as shown in our policies below.
We look carefully at your child's individual needs when deciding the best way to support your child and we offer different approaches to suit these needs.
