Ash Croft Primary Academy is a co-educational community school for children aged five to eleven. It is part of The Harmony Trust, providing a successful partnership with local academies. The building is situated in large grounds alongside Deep Dale Lane. Ash Croft is a well resourced primary academy that was opened in 1977 as a school and converted in June 2018. We have a flat tarmaced playground and extensive flat grassed areas with easy access around the outside of the building.

The academy has the benefits of Interactive White Boards in all classrooms and class sets of ipads and laptops. We have a large hall, spacious classrooms, a library and secure outdoor spaces which are well resourced including a vegetable garden, outdoor classrooms and a tyre park.

We make arrangements to visit local nurseries when pupils transfer to our reception class.
We liaise with the secondary schools our children move on to.
We also liaise with any schools which our children may move from or to within the school year.
