I have been a child minder for 26years and my husband, Mark has been assisting me for 11 years.

We regularly do childcare related training courses online to assist us with meeting the individual needs of the children in my care. All the children are cared for in a homely environment where they feel safe, secure and happy. The activities we do help the children to meet their individual needs.

Although the high risk of Covid has subsided we still do regular cleaning of our setting and equipment, we have single use towels, each child has their own set of craft items and for those children who sleep they have their own blanket. During our time at home we do craft work, jigsaw puzzles, games and time for free play.

We love being in the garden where there is a big safe area to play.
We grow vegetables every year which is a real favourite with the children, they love to see them grow and eat them. Each term we have a craft theme and the children display their work. Last year we put it outside so the parents and anyone passing could see their creations.
