Service Description
Service Description:Mickleover Methodist Pre-school is a term time pre-school based in the Methodist church centre in Mickleover Derby.
Our pre-school follows the Early Years Foundation Stage and we operate on a free flow basis, allowing children to access activities freely and with confidence. All of our activities are based on children''s likes and interest to encourage valuable learning through play. Our staff are all trained in developing children speech, language and communication and we recently received our official communication friendly setting status.
All of our staff are qualified to level 3 and hold a paediatrics first aid certificate. Our pre-school is fully inclusive to all children, including those with special educational needs and disabilities. Our surfaces are low level and accessible, our resources and activities can be planned to meet the needs of individual children.
