Speech and Language UK Help Enquiry Service gives parents/carers and practitioners a chance to discuss questions or concerns about a child’s speech, language and communication development with one of Speech and Language UK speech and language therapists.

The therapists can give helpful information about children’s talking and communication development as well as tips on improving these skills.They can also offer advice on ages and stages and what can be done to help a child and get the right support.

As this service does not include meeting and assessing children, the speech and language therapists cannot comment on topics such as diagnosis or the provision the child is receiving, but will aim to signpost to services and organisations that can help further.
