| Service Description: | If you have a 2-year-old and are eligible for a Flying Start childcare funded place, then come along to our cook and play sessions!
You and your child will have chance to get involved and make delicious meals / lunches, play whilst the food is cooking and then all sitting together to give them a taste, have some lunch and a snack.
We have a range of toys available for your child to play with as well as outdoor space to explore and play.
A member of staff is present during the session to support with preparing the food, making it and serving the snack. You can also speak with them if you have any concerns or need any help - They will be happy to support or signpost.
These sessions will help prepare your child for nursery or school, encouraging hand washing, turn taking, sharing and sitting together for meal times!
