Based on the same site as Oakwood Infant School in Alvaston, Derby, Oakwood Nursery School offers parents a choice of funded term-time Nursery placements, for children from the age of 3 upwards. These options include:

Free funded 15 hour places at the start of the week - Monday and Tuesday (09:00-15:00 each day) and Wednesday (09:00-12:00)
Free funded 15 hour places at the end of the week - Wednesday (12:30-15:30) and Thursday and Friday (09:00-15:00 each day)
Extended 30 hour funded places (Monday to Friday - 09:00-15:00 daily) - please note that the 30 hour places available are dependent on parental eligibility for extended entitlement childcare.

Children are normally admitted to our Nursery in the September after their third birthday. However, we may be able to offer a place to start Nursery in the January or April following a child's third birthday, subject to availability. We are now taking applications for free funded 15 hour places at both the start and end of the week and for funded 30 hour extended entitlement places to start in September 2022.
