About the service

Service Description:
This practical painting and decorating course will enable students to gain the skills needed to work within the trades and leads to a City & Guilds qualification. At the end of the programme, students will have gained the skills needed to paint and decorate rooms in a professional and safe manner.

Qualification: City & Guilds in Employability Skills
Entry requirements: Aged 16-18, or up to 24 with an EHC plan
Course delivery: Full-time

Safe working practices
Using equipment and resources appropriately
Preparing surfaces
Finishing surfaces
Working at height
Community project planning
