About the service
Service Description:ACE Education Advice and Training provides independent advice and information for parents on education issues in England. High quality training and consultancy services covering education law and guidance are provided to a wide range of education professionals.
Established following the closure of The Advisory Centre for Education, ACE Education continues much of the vital work of its predecessor and shares the same ethos and vision of a fair education system for all.
ACE Education strongly believes that education improves life chances for children and young people. We strive to improve access to and understanding of, an increasingly complex education system. We aim to help all families, particularly those who find themselves disadvantaged or marginalised.
ACE Telephone Adviceline.
If you are the parent or carer of a child at school and you would like to talk to an adviser you can call our free confidential telephone adviceline on 0300 0115 142. Calls to the adviceline cost the same as calling a standard landline number - even from a mobile. 0300 numbers are often included in any inclusive call minute packages offered by phone operators.
Normal opening hours: Monday to Wednesday from 10am to 1pm. Term time only.
Please note, we are a small organisation and rely on volunteers to help us provide advice. Sometimes we may not be able to open the adviceline as advertised. If you hear a closed message please contact one of the organisations listed below instead. Please do not leave a voice message for us as unfortunately we do not have the resources to provide a call back service.
