About the service
Service Description:Hardwick House works with learners who are high functioning autistic children who may have spent time away from education due to increased anxieties. Our philosophy at Hardwick House is to put the needs and well-being of these young people first, at the very heart of everything that we do, ensuring that they are enabled to learn in a positive and inclusive environment. We recognise the specific needs of each child and we offer a learner-centred approach to help them manage these needs and empower them to develop strategies to cope with the demands of social and educational pressures. Our long term aim is to ensure that each and every child fulfils their potential, overcomes the barriers of their autism and is ready for the next stage in their education.
