Children’s Centres provide a variety of services to support you, all in one place. They are somewhere your child can make friends and learn as they play. Where you can get professional advice on health and family matters. Learn about training and job opportunities. The centre offers a friendly, welcoming environment and works with parents, parents to be and carers of children to promote the physical, intellectual and social development of children.

- Family Support and Outreach Work: support for parents – including advice on parenting, local childcare options and access to specialist services for families

- Child and Family Health Service: child and family health services – ranging from health screening, health visitor services to breast-feeding support

- Workshops and Advice: helping parents into work – with links to the local Jobcentre Plus and training.
