Service Description:Derby Racecourse Hub is managed on behalf of Derby City Council by Leisure United.
The project has provided state-of-the-art provision to Derby Racecourse and is part of a national Hubs programme led by the Premier League, The Football Association (FA) and the Government’s Football Foundation.
There is also bookable changing accommodation, community rooms, a cafe, play area and state-of-the-art AGP football pitches.

Kick off your footie, sign up for our hotly contested local leagues or tackle a tournament. Pay and play for kids and adults, quarter-size pitch hire perfect for five-a-side football, coaching sessions, all-weather training, girls and women’s training and teams, kids afterschool clubs, school holiday camps, free parking, on-site café, football parties and even walking football.
The site acts as the central venue for the Derby Junior League providing grass football fixtures across mini soccer, youth, and senior football pitches.
The site is the home of the Steve Bloomer 3G pitch that provides a venue for football training, fixtures, and development sessions. The pitch is 100 x 65 meters to accommodate full sized pitch bookings and can be divided into thirds to facilitate small sided games and training space for use by multiple groups at any given time.
